As our GEA family is growing, we are looking for a Customer Training manager to join our team in Halle. The Customer Training Manager will be responsible to drive and develop all GEA Customer training activities for customers and partners in the FHT Division. Furthermore, ensuring the implementation of required standard global processes and the design of enabling software tools being part of the GEA Learning Center. The Customer Training Manager reports to the GEA Head of FHT Competence Development & Training.

Reporting into our Director Competence Development & Training, you will be accountable for:

Governance & processes

  • Develop and implement Customer training product portfolio within the Division & Business Units

  • Define and implement standard customer training processes and related tools to provide added value for the business and customers

  • Effective use of training capacities, Subject Matter Experts and infrastructure by finding the appropriate implementation approach (local language training, train-the-trainer, etc.)

Quality & Product Management

  • Responsibility to drive with the Business Units the route to market in alignment with stakeholders in Business Units and Regions & Countries

  • Identify, create and prioritize training products with all stakeholders (Product Managers, Service Sales, Customers...) and drive this with the FHT training team

  • Support for preparation, implementation and review of customer training offer and execution

  • Reporting of Division FHT Customer training offer/order overview

Marketing & Financial

  • Benchmark with peers and competitors and stay on top of market developments on training

  • Drive communication & marketing plan for customer training in alignment with local marketing

  • Drive customer training budgets, sales (KPI’s) and targets in alignment with the Business Units

  • Develop, drive and set targets for the Service Sales, Sales and marketing organizations for customer training;

  • Educational background: Bachelor in Marketing, Commercial or Business related education
