Careers that Change LivesTo strengthen our Minimally Invasive Therapies Group Business in EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) within Surgical Innovations division focused on Robotic Assisted Surgery we are currently looking for a fulltime passionate, independent and solution-oriented Customer Training Specialist with excellent interpersonal skills, didactic personality and natural ability to educate healthcare professionals. This is a great challenge for a persuasive individual with a clinical/ medical devices or healthcare background. Strong communication skills in English are required.A Day in the LifeWe offer you a position where you are responsible for delivery of Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS) technology training to surgeons, first assistants, and Operating Room staff from a variety of surgical specialties aligned with the core strategy.You will be actively involved in the continuous improvement of training programs and provide support for customer training and training research initiatives.You will establish relationships within designated external training entities in targeted global geographies.It will be your responsibility to manage training center logistics, inventory, and training calendars in conjunction with key stakeholders. Together with training center staff, maintaining all capital equipment, including but not limited to the cleaning and reprocessing of instruments and accessories will be your responsibility as well.We expect you to be able to deliver valuable training courses to Health Care Professionals (HCP) at designated training partner facilities. Topics will include:- Introduction to robotic surgery, features and benefits and systems comparison
- System overview, instrument portfolio and accessories
- Pre-operative phase
- Patient positioning, ports and Arm Cart set up
- Intra-operative use, surgeon and bedside activities and interactions
- Console controls and activities
- Troubleshooting
- Post-operative phase
- Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Clinical or Health Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare Management, Engineering or Education
- Clinical, healthcare and/or operating room experience
- Minimum of 5 years Medical-device experience
- Proven experience training on complex topics and/or technology
- Fluent in English. Native in German
- You are flexible with hours of operation
- Knowledge of adult learning principles preferred
- Preferably experience in robotic surgery, capital equipment or equivalent technology
- Multilingual highly preferable (Spanish, French, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese)
