Why Patients Need You

Our manufacturing logistics and supply team makes sure that customers and patients have the medicines they need, when they need them. You will help bring medicines to the world even faster by embracing challenges, imagining what’s possible and taking action.

What You Will Achieve

Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in planning and managing the efficient flow of products and services through the Pfizer supply chain cycle. You will be responsible for the import or export of products, which includes activities, such as planning and scheduling, ensuring related customer service and brokerage. You will manage customs transaction compliance, maintaining compliance with in-county and international regulations governing the shipment, receipt and documentation of imported/exported products, and negotiating with foreign customers to develop handling agreements.

As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team. Your focus and ability to meet team targets will help in completing important deliverables on time. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will make it easy to manage difficult issues and help in establishing consensus between teams.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Contribute to the completion of projects and manage own time to meet agreed targets.

  • Understand the fundamental business drivers for Pfizer and make decisions within organization’s guidelines and policies.

  • Prepare logistics releasing documents and follow up with concerned departments to accelerate finalizing the required documents.

  • Ensure all transactions are compliant with the local customs rules and regulations, and internal procedures.

  • Guide clearance agents to use the most appropriate tariff codes & certified documents.

  • Provide value creation governance across all areas effecting Logistics Delivery Operations.

  • Follow up the Customs clearance operations for subject materials in cooperation with the customs brokers.

  • Prepare quarterly import & export reports and monthly KPI reports for customs brokers.

  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)s are available and valid for all processes related to the required warehousing & logistics operations.

  • Support cost and service performance governance and continuous improvement through our B alanced S corecard and O perational R eview M anagement framework.

  • Handle initiation of export documents for exporting shipments, export certificates (COO Certificate of Origin, CPP certificate of pharmaceuticals product s etc.).

  • Maintain a comprehensive computerized database, also available in hard-copy files (archiving and filing) for all shipments and all work-related activities to ensure the retrieval of any needed document easily.

  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and wall-to-wall stock and manage the correction of discrepancies in a compliant and streamline systems across Pfizer.

  • Contribute towards continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience .

  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools.

  • Strong Knowledge of domestic and international logistic and government regulations.

  • Good Written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience with inventory management concepts.

  • System Application and Products knowledge.

Nice-to-Have

  • Master’s degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience

  • Experience in an Import/Export environment

  • Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving.

  • Possesses a positive, continuous improvement mindset.
