EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


Essential Qualifications/Experience:

· A university degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a technical subject with substantial Information Technology (IT) content and 2 years of specific experience. Exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency; that is, at least 8 years extensive and progressive expertise in the duties related to the function of the post
· Proven experience as a System Administrator
· Strong understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
· In-depth knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
· Good knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and/or Confluence

DUTIES/ROLE:
· Perform pre-check on test reference environment to confirm the availability and full functionality of the tested product
· Validate the configuration and setup of the environment against predefined standards and requirements
· Identify any issues or discrepancies that could impede testing activities
· Act as a liaison between security testing teams, and other relevant stakeholders
· Communicate readiness status and potential issues to relevant teams in a timely manner
· Provide technical support and also able to install systems and applications (ESXi/Vmware environment)
· Assist in configuring and maintaining the test reference environments as needed
· Ensure that all necessary tools, software, and configurations are in place for security testing
· Perform basic security checks and validation to identify potential vulnerabilities
· Performs any other duties if requested
