Job Description

As an Cybersecurity Officer for Industrial Systems, you will work primarily on industrial control systems (ICS) in power plants by supporting the operations team. You will implement and support the security of these systems.

You will work with security systems and techniques such as firewalls, activity logs, detection systems, access control systems and other technologies related to cybersecurity in an industrial environment.

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE?
  • You will participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of basic and specific cyber processes and techniques with particular focus on industrial control systems such as:
    • Inventory Management
    • Risk management, pen tests, audits
    • Incident analysis and response
    • Identity and access management
    • Management of innovations
    • Network security monitoring
    • You participate in the design and implementation of innovative solutions for complex security functions in the System Controls infrastructures and environments
    • You ensure OT projects comply with cybersecurity standards.
    • You ensure maintenance of OT Cybersecurity tools and infrastructure.
    • You ensure quality and keep the list of OT systems up-to-date.
    • You monitor OT cybersecurity by analyzing CERT alerts.
    • You direct the operational team to detect timely updates and risks
    • You support the operational team with your Cybersecurity knowledge and experience.
    • You participate in cybersecurity audits.
    • You maintain and improve operational reporting (dashboard) related to OT Cybersecurity activities.
    • You participate in detecting and recovering Cyber incidents on OT systems.
    Requirements
    • You have a Bachelor’s degree in IT/Automation or equivalent and have a good knowledge of IT/Automation.
    • You have a good knowledge of Cybersecurity requirements and this applied to the OT world.
    • You are familiar with operating systems, system and network architectures, and more specifically with OT operating system architectures.
    • You have knowledge and experience with PLCs, SCADA and DCS systems.
    • You are familiar with network communication protocols between IT and OT, and you can develop and/or apply defense techniques to the OT and IT network.
    • You take initiative and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team.
    • You are willing to learn and are creative in solving problems.
    • You have good communication skills, both oral and written.
    • You like to plan and organize your work to ensure proper follow-up.
    • You communicate in at least two of the three languages used at Luminus (Dutch, French and English)
