We’re looking for a curious Data Architect

Wherever communication needs technology, Televic is at work. We develop, manufacture and install high-tech communication systems with a focus on 4 niche markets: Conference, Education, Healthcare and Rail. Televic Group enables the strategic ambitions of these Business Units by centralizing all IT, HR, finance, operations and procurement activities.

To support our growth ambitions we are on the lookout for a curious autonomous and talented Data Architect that can help our company in the execution of a future-proof data strategy, data warehouse and adequate reporting.

Working as a Data Architect

• With the help of an external partner, a new data warehouse concept has been implemented in Televic (including ETL, reporting, etc.). You will become the shop manager of this environment.
• You take the lead in data strategy, modelling and conceptualization and you translate this into a continuous improvement roadmap.
• You are the gatekeeper when new data or information requests are being launched from business users.
• You guard the data quality, governance and centralization of the stored data, both for existing as for emerging information needs (data lakes, unstructured data, …).
• You implement best practices for ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Load) operations to create regular snapshots of data from our existing systems (ERP, CRM, …)
• You are interested in and willing to work out strategies for access to these data: security, API’s, data definition catalogs for citizen development, trainings, …
• You create and maintain centrally owned reports on the data warehouse (PowerBI, PowerQuery, …).
• You assist other business/IT users with data-related needs (migration, conversion, citizen analysts, …).

Professional skills we’re looking for:

• You combine a Master’s degree (preferably Business Admin.; mathematics or related) and at least 3 years of experience in data analysis or similar data-oriented work.
• You are able to organize your work in an autonomous and structured way.
• You have a logical and analytical mindset.
• You are an expert in data collection, analysis and delivery.
