Data Manager

As a Data Manager, you will be at the heart of the organization. We all know that data is one of the main assets for each company. As part of the ‘Data Strategy’, Data Governance & management is a key pillar. And according to us it is the first step towards becoming a data driven organization. It’s obvious that our clients need to use the data to come to the right insights and take the right decisions. But do they know who is using their data? And which data? Is the data they are using of good quality? Well managed?

Your job

As a data manager, you will support companies with these different questions, and make sure they manage and govern their data to get most value from it. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Design and implement the data management strategy

• Design and implement the right framework

• Set-up the right processes

• Advice on data governance tooling

• Define the needed roles & responsibilities

• Establish trusted relationship with a various range of people at your client (both business & IT profiles)

• Connect between the different stakeholders

• Lead a data governance implementation at the client and/or lead the project team

Your background

• You have a bachelor or master’s degree
• Fluent English is a must (Dutch and/or French is a plus)
• Experience in data management & data governance
• Experience with at least one data governance tool
• Experience in leading a data management/governance project and/or team
• Ability to solve problems independently and as part of a team
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, while moving from task to task
• Ability to work as part of a team and to complete tasks as assigned, with great attention to detail
• Strong stakeholder management skills
