Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required

  • Proven working experience in creating database Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Standard Operation Instructions (SOI) for a general audience ;
  • Knowledge of the database technologies (MS SQL Server , Oracle, MySQL);
  • G ood understanding of more advanced architectures on high availability and disaster recovery solutions, like server clustering and virtual infrastructures .

Duties/role:

  • Defining and implementing documentation for the database strategies to keep the DB platforms inventory and best practices set in place;
  • Supporting database service costing calculations, outsourcing strategies and Service Level Agreements;
  • Gather ing information from subject matter experts and develop ing , organiz ing, and writ ing procedure RDBMS - related manuals .
