Introductie

The candidate should be proactive and autonomous in his defined working area and focused on result delivery and problem solving in a very pragmatic way. Able to be quickly integrated in an existing team the candidate should be able to work on multiple projects in parallel.

Organisatie

The DBIG Team is responsible within IT to develop and maintain the data applications in the commercial area.


Functie

  • The data capture from operational applications (one to one copy) – the integration and enrichment of the data into the common data store (including computing of customer segmentations and complex indicators).

  • The delivery of the commercial information to the businesses through data marts and the central Business Objects reporting platform.

  • The support of the campaign activity and the feeding of the new operational Analytics Based Selling system (Lily).

  • Follow-up and monitoring channels through tagging solution (Adobe)

  • The setup of a big data environment in support of the data scientists and a data lake to

    automate data science models execution.

  • The set up of a data platform to support the need of a governed and centralized data

    environment


Functie-eisen

We are currently searching a pragmatic analyst-developer to:

  • Work on BI classical technologies to self-implement BI realizations

  • Refine the scope together with the functional analyst

  • Execute the implementation of data flows and ETL jobs

  • Define and perform the integration testing and unit testing

  • Wake on the solution promote process up to production

  • Wake on maintenance of application on production

Technical skills

Practical experience of next technologies:

  • Oracle 19c

  • SQL and PL/SQL

  • BODS SAP Business Objects Dataservices Designer

  • Linux + shell scripting

  • TWS Tivoli Workload Scheduler

Functional skills

  • Coordinate development and testing activities with the analyst and consumer within given timing, budget and with expected quality

  • Analyze, describe, test, and maintain data flows and analytics exploitation

  • Knowledge of Business intelligence techniques

  • Participate and emulate development activities

  • Work on project realization up to production in a agile project mode

Interpersonnal skills

  • Flexible and team player

  • Autonomous and proactive, who can drive alone according to specifications

  • Structured and able to challenge – Pragmatic

  • Curious, eager to learn


Language skills

  • French/Dutch and English
