Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Participate in software development projects by writing, testing, and debugging code, under the guidance of more experienced team members
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives and meet deadlines
  • Contribute to the documentation of software requirements and specifications
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, seeking guidance from senior team members
  • Support the implementation of emerging technologies and best practices
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
  • Actively learn from and assist more experienced team members

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant experience, typically 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
  • Basic understanding of coding and debugging
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the field
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Other Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a related field is a plus
  • Relevant certifications or training a plus
