Main Responsibilities
  • In line with European sales and marketing strategy propose and implement sales and marketing strategy for the territory. Translate and implement European Marketing Strategy according to local market needs.
  • Maintain and grow the existing customer business and develop prospective customers in the territory to meet goals.
  • Manage customer pricing to reach defined pricing goals.
  • Develop long-term business relationships as required to meet business goals.
  • Participate fully in all assigned marketing Cross-Functional Teams and contribute actively to the development and execution of the industry sector market plans for the region.
  • Highlight all customer support requirements and ensure relevant Carmeuse resources are brought into play to resolve issues.
  • Maintain active memberships and participation in relevant industry associations and technical support groups.
  • Develop an understanding of, and report competitor strengths, weaknesses, and activities.
  • Fulfill and monitor all required budgeting, forecasting, and reporting procedures.
  • Supervise the administration of complaints and analyze the cases.
  • Negotiate contract conditions with the customers within the framework predefined with the Director Key Account EU.
  • Follow and manage receivables and overdue towards achieving Working Capital result of the company.
  • Follow and manage credit limits in accordance with the finance department.
  • Monitor activities of sales representatives and evaluate their results, support them
systematically in achieving their objectives.
  • Recommend staffing levels. Recruit and maintain sales resources.
  • Develop the “services” offer for the customers (offer technical solutions, transport management, optimization of the solutions…).
  • Optimize the digitalization of the sales process.
  • Ensure the quality of the data within the CRM.
  • Develop new ways of working in a more digital environment.
Basic Requirements
  • University degree (economical or technical)
  • Minimum 5-8 years in a commercial and business environment
  • Good level of Dutch, French, and English
