Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

To accompany our partners/clients on complex and ambitious technological issue, we are looking for aBackend Developer, at our office in Brussels.

As part of our team, you will be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from the upstream phases of consultant/design to the implementation of solutions.

Your main missions:

• Develop and maintain software systems based on Microsoft .NET and other technologies.
• Confer with systems analysts, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
• Determine system performance standards.
• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Yourprofile:

• Holder of an Engineering Degree or equivalent University degree (BAC+5), you have at least 2 years of experience in computer development using theC#, .Net programming language.
• You are familiar with working with Agile/Scrum.
• You have an experience programming in ASP.NET MVC, Database (Microsoft SQL Server), Entity Framework or relevant work experience.
• Be able to work at Front-end with HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap.
• Comfortable technically reviewing code and participating in design/architecture reviews.
• Ability to understand and learn technical subjects and emerging technologies.
• Ability to influence as a member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members
• You have a good level of English. French & Dutch are plus.
