Jobinhalt

This project is a collaboration between the Human Movement Biomechanics Research Group (Prof. Friedl De Groote) at the Department of Movement Sciences and two international partners, i.e. Emory University (Prof. Lena Ting) and University of Kentucky (Prof. Ken Campbell). The aim of the HMBRG is to advance understanding of how neuro-musculoskeletal properties shape movement. To this aim, we use a blended experimental and computational approach. Profs. Ken Campbell and Lena Ting provide expertise in cross-bridge models of muscle mechanics and the role of muscle mechanics in shaping whole body movements.
