We are currently looking for an experienced Business Application and Data architect to ensure that the Tomra Food application, data definition and architecture are in line with the business requirements.

In this role you should exhibit extensive application development/configuration knowledge and experience in evaluating business needs. A top-notch application architect will be someone whose expertise in application architecture translates into optimized business operations.

You will be the guardian of the Master Data Management for Tomra Food.

You will oversee the design process for new applications or improve existing applications, run software tests, develop product prototypes and create technical documents and manuals relating to application deployment within the Tomra Food organization.

You will provide technical support and training to the data and application specialists.

You have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Power platform modules underlying D365: Power App, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Dataverse and other.

Daily, you’ll be energized by:

• Design, build and maintain the global application and data architecture for Tomra Food.
• Maintain and be the guardian of master data management for Tomra Food.
• Design, configure and maintain the enterprise integration platform business rules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to craft vision and concept development and deployment of the business applications for Tomra Food (IFS, D365, Ms BI, …).
• Work with internal and external contacts to analyse needs and align the products architecture to strategic goals.
• Provide technical support and training to your colleagues including the management of the linked technical documentation.
• Staying current on business/supplier developments through relevant reading, networking, meetings or attending conferences/workshops.

Your profile

• Degree in business management, system architecture or information science or in-depth training in the Microsoft Power Platform landscape or equivalent by experience.
• Possess strong analytical, creative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with eye for detail, at same time maintaining an overview.
• High level of initiative, ability to work well in a team environment, plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
• Have effective leadership skills.
• Able to work, always innovating, in a rapidly change environment, prioritizing accordingly.
• High degree of customer centricity and good verbal and written communication skills.
• Eager to be part of a global virtual team.
• Master the Microsoft Power Platform landscape.
• Experience with enterprise integration platform solutions.
• Knowledge in the IFS ERP is a plus.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
