For this key role in our organisation, BCA Belgium is looking for our new colleague to fulfill the role ofcar buying specialistto support and grow our local activities.

Main tasks

-Client Consultation

  • Understand the client’s vehicle needs (e.g. type, size, features, usage).
  • Determine their budget, financing needs, and preferences (brand, new/used, etc.).

- Vehicle Research & sourcing

  • Research and locate suitable vehicles based on the client’s requirements, locally and internationally.
  • Compare prices, features, history (for used cars), and availability across dealerships or private sellers.

- Price negotiation

  • Negotiate with dealerships or sellers to secure the best price and terms.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to avoid hidden fees or upselling tactics.

- Vehicle inspection & logistics

  • Coordinate or conduct vehicle inspections, and follow up of the logistic chain of purchased cars.

Challenges and specifics of the job:

- Understanding commercial interests of our customers and our organisation

- Function combining commercial flair & administrative tasks

- Working in a start-up environment, requiring a hands-on approach

We are looking for a colleague who

- Has a good knowledge of Dutch, French and English.

- Is eager to maintain commercial contacts & develop his negotiating skills

- Knowledge of the automotive sector is a must.

- 3 Years relative experience in a purchasing role is required
