Robert Half is currently recruiting a Commercial Controller.

Our client is a utility company.

The main accountabilities for this job include:

  • Financial analysis & business models - Build and manage financial databases by organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources;
  • Operational support - leverage global reporting tools for discussions with operational leaders to track actuals vs. plan and drive actions to deliver annual sales to COM targets;
  • Profitability accountability - leverage global reporting tools to analyze profitability by region, product line and customer and recommend action plan to improve productivity;
  • Planning cycles - work closely with operations in order to coordinate and submit short- / long-term planning cycles, support strategic decisions;
  • Commercial / controllership / DOA activities - train / educate operations on controllership matters, ensure application of global policies, support statutory audits and account recs;
  • Process improvement and standardization;
  • Performs ad hoc analysis for executives and finance manager as required;
  • Presenting the data to the business.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

  • Master degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or college;
  • A minimum of 4y experience at a BIG4 or as a financial/business controller;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel;
  • SAP experience required;
  • Dutch & English - Full professional proficiency;
  • Tableau proficient (or any other similar BI / data visualization tools);
  • Team player mindset;
  • Dynamism, agility and proactivity;
  • Work independently and self-motivated.
