To help reaching its objectives, Alpha Networks is looking for a new Communication & Event Manager to join the Marketing team.
Purpose of the Job
The successful candidate will take on the position of Communication and Event Manager and will be responsible for the Communications department of our company. The Communication Manager will be an integral part of the Marketing Department and will work under the supervision and coordination of the Marketing and Communications Director.
The Communication and Event Manager will work regularly on the creation of compelling content and implementing content communication strategies that connect to our global audience. She/he will be an advisor when it comes to elevating the brand and reputation of Alpha Networks, thus contributing to the company’s vision.
Main missions
The Communication and Event will also be in charge of events from A to Z (planning, coordination and performance measurement)
Communication
- Participating in defining the corporate and products communication strategy together with the Marketing and Product team and under the supervision of the Marketing Director
- Translating the corporate communication strategy into a digital plan and media strategy
- Managing (with marketing team) our digital corporate communication owned channels (social media, web platforms, internal and external newsletters, etc.)
- Be responsible for PR projects (writing or coordinating with PR agencies)
- Participating in cross-functional team meetings to identify communication opportunities
- Ensuring that regular content updates are performed and check content for accuracy and consistency (corporate websites, ppt presentations…)
- Assisting with email marketing and social media campaigns
- Evaluate the efficiency and impact of campaigns, online and offline content, and potential 3rd party agencies to analyse to what extent these have been successful and ensure the quality and further improvement of the results.
- Managing both on-page SEO and off-page SEO analysis and execution, improving organic search engine performance, and setting goals based on click-through rates, conversions, and traffic.
- Providing reports and analysis on the performance of digital and communication campaigns
Events
- Managing all pre-event planning and produce detailed proposals for events including timelines, venues, suppliers and contractors
- Coordinating suppliers and all event logistics
- Coordinating with sales and marketing teams to publicize and promote the event
- Coordinate suppliers and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget
- Measure and report performance of all events, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Who will work with
- The Communication and Event Manager will deal with the Marketing Team (Marketing Assistant(s), Marketing Director, Graphic Designer) ;
- The Product Team ;
- Sales Team ;
- HR Team.
Who will report to
Giorgia, Marketing and Communication Director. Giorgia joined Alpha Networks in 2017.
Profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the digital landscape and possibly B2B communication
- Excellent written, analytical and communication skills in English (Native or bilingual or high proficiency to be proved)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to adapt messaging to different audiences
- Self-organized and structured, with the ability to define her/his own tasks
- Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
- Digital savvy and creative mindset to find innovative solutions
