Your role:

Within the Customer and Market Intelligence department, part of Group Strategy (GST), you will join the Customer and Market Research team, responsible for market research for the Proximus Group (B2C & B2B, national & international).

The mission of the team is to deliver the right consumer & enterprise insights and recommendations to the appropriate decision-making bodies, at the right time, and in the right way.

  • You will be responsible for understanding the business needs of our internal customers, translating them into research objectives, and identifying the best methods to provide answers and insights within time and budget constraints.
  • You will coordinate the implementation of research projects from briefing to presentation. When appropriate, you may consult or involve market research agencies.
  • This role will primarily focus on the consumer market, user-based segmentations, concept and value proposition, portfolio development and go-to-market strategies.
  • You enjoy exploring various sources (market studies, external reports, internal data) to establish a thorough diagnosis and develop a holistic understanding of a subject. Thanks to your synthesis skills, you can extract essential data and articulate it into a simple, clear, and precise story for internal teams.
  • Your conclusions & recommendations will influence strategic decisions and/or tactical choices. You will present your conclusions and discuss them with multifunctional project teams.

  • You love researching, measuring, analyzing and quantifying things. You appreciate precision but you are not afraid to make an educated guess.
  • You are curious, eager to learn, customer-oriented, and result-driven.
  • You are good at visualizing data and making impactful presentations. You can easily express your ideas in writing or orally in meetings (storytelling).
  • You are a team player, and you remain calm under pressure during peak times.
  • You allocate your time efficiently and can manage several projects simultaneously.


Required competencies:

  • Master degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Trilingual (English, French, Dutch)
  • More than 10 years experience in advanced market research
  • Proven expertise and knowledge of tools in the following areas: concept testing, price testing & conjoint studies and user-based segmentations.
  • Proficiency in Office 365. Knowledge of SPSS, Medallia and Qualtrics are a plus.
  • Knowledge of the ICT market in Belgium is a plus.
