THE ROLE

Chemours is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor to join our Titanium Technologies EMEA Team! The position will report directly to the Customer Service and Operations Manager TT EMEA at our Kallo, Belgiumlocation. As Customer Service Supervisor you will lead a team of Customer Services Representatives (CSR’s) and will take necessary actions in order to guarantee customer satisfaction, increase productivity of the team and provide development opportunities for the team members in order to retain and motivate them.

Responsibilities

General
  • Drives results of the team, establishes the team’s objectives in line with EMEA and global supply chain and regional businesses;
  • Manages recruitment and performance evaluation of the team;
  • Monitors the team workload with data and ensures proper balance amongst the team members;
  • Enables opportunities for (senior) CSR’s to have in-depth knowledge of their customers and actively coaches team members;
  • Identifies training needs and ensures execution of training plan;
  • Interacts with Business Leadership to ensure that the customers’ requirements are understood and commitments are met;
  • Takes active role in managing escalated issues;
  • Ensures a process is in place to manage back-up efficiently;
  • Provides functional guidance to the team on consignment stock agreements;
  • Ensures compliance with contract terms: e.g. consignment stock invoicing/restocks/ rebates / commissions;
  • Ensures compliance with SOX procedures.

Process improvements and digitalization
  • Ensures that the procedures of the department are well defined, documented, shared with the team and easily accessible;
  • Continuously looks for ways to streamline and standardize work processes to improve team efficiency;
  • Order fulfillment: acts as an escalation point for CSR team for orders that cannot be automatically released given forecast and/or availability issues by the ATP process;
  • Identifies improvement / automation projects and collaborate with the EMEA supply chain projects team for implementation;
  • Trains and mentors Customer Service Representatives to get the team ready for the future role of CSR defined by the Supply chain vision (in the light of digitalization of sales orders entry, end-to-end automated integrated processes ATP-OMP, etc.).

Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Min. 3 years of experience in a customer-oriented position;
  • Knowledge of SAP, SFDC and order entry web portals is a plus;
  • Excellent communication skills: be concise and clear;
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English;
  • Strong people leader skills;
  • Ability to drive change;
  • Agility;
  • Very accurate worker;
  • Eager to help others and eager to keep on learning.
