We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Data manager (temp replacement)based in Leuven – Belgium.

What is your role?

The main goal of the Data Manager is maintaining data in Navision &CRM for a good rollout of costs, lead times and other information towards sales and Order Processing.

Key areas of responsibility

Data management

• Maintain item cards used for sales EU in our databases (Pricing, descriptions, HS codes, country of origin,…)
• Retrieve all the necessary product information from suppliers
• Calculate purchase and (regional) sales prices
• Optimize automated data transfer between the different databases
• Do all of this in cooperation with NMI, as they are also concerned with it
• Ensure continuation
• Align and discuss with other departments, managing expectations and driving unity

Navision

• Work on process improvements
• Support new ERP implementation

Inventory

• Arrange stock count for all sales EU stock locations managed by OF
• Guarantee correct inventory at any moment and take the required actions to ensure this

Ancillary Responsibilities

• The person needs to be able to plan his work individually and at a team level but also to work cross departmental
• We expect the person to come with ideas to improve existing procedures
• The person must be problem solving

Qualifications

Essential

• PC knowledge (excel & outlook)
• Technical insight is required e.g. computers,…
• Minimum 2-3 year ERP experience
• Navision / CRM knowledge
• English, Dutch
• Bachelor degree
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable

• French or German is a plus
• Navision / CRM knowledge
• Experience in an international company

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Stress resistant
• Overwork might be required in December and March, very limited vacation is possible in these months
