Skills, knowledge, experience required:

• A minimum 10 years of recent practical experience as an Oracle EBusiness Suite DBA, demonstrating a 36 months of sustained period of performance on recent assignments. In this capacity, the Consultant must have performed duties such as installing, upgrading, and supporting (patching, troubleshooting, tuning) Oracle E-Business Suite software and the associated Oracle Technology stack in a multi-tier/multi-node/multi-platform environment, comprising database server, applications server, web server, concurrent processing server, reports server, forms server, admin server, and discoverer server;
• Experience of centrally managing multiple Oracle installations on large systems, in particular, the candidate must be conversant with following product versions:
• Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.3;
• Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.6+;
• Oracle Database 12cRx (or higher) product versions;
• Practical experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Database backup/recovery (RMAN), configuration, sizing, space management, monitoring, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, troubleshooting and administration;
• Expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.3 and 12.2.6 (or higher) technical architecture, including knowledge of the underlying database architecture, with particular reference to schemas/products, database objects, file system structure, tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, sequences, indexes and constraints;
• Broad knowledge of and experience with Oracle Application Server (10g) and proven ability in dealings with Forms/Reporting/Apache Web servers and configuring, troubleshooting and tuning;
• Broad knowledge of and experience with WebLogic server (10.3.6 & 12c) and proven ability in dealings with Forms/Reporting/Apache Web servers and configuring, troubleshooting and tuning;
• Practical experience with advanced topology elements like shared APPL_TOP, Oracle Grid Infrastructure (GI), Rapid Application Cluster (RAC), Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Data Guard and Active Data Guard;
• Sound knowledge of and experience with Oracle’s Enterprise Manager 13c or higher;
• Sound knowledge of and experience with Oracle’s Application Management Suite for Oracle E-Business Suite;
• Basic UNIX/Linux knowledge and good automation (UNIX/Linux scripting) skills;
• Sound knowledge of and experience with Oracle Server products on VMWare, Linux and Microsoft systems;
• Broad knowledge of and experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Advanced Configurations and Topologies, like DMZ (iSupplier);
• Broad knowledge of and experience with Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture (MMA) configurations;
• Expertise in working Oracle implementations on virtual Data Centres;
• Broad knowledge of and experience with Mobile Supply Chain Application server (MWA);
• Practical experience with the installation, upgrade and maintenance of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE, OBIA,…);
• Practical experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) integration.

Desirable:

• Sound knowledge of and experience with Oracle Server products on Hyper-V and Solaris;
• Practical experience with the installation, upgrade and maintenance of Oracle Application Express (APEX).

Duties/role:

• Working as an Oracle EBS DBA within the Service Support and Business Applications Service Line, supporting the Enterprise Business Applications suite of tools;
• Reporting to the SSBA EBA Service Delivery Manager.
