Job Description

Seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong software engineering foundations to help us build scalable, automated, and secure infrastructure. You will work in a cross-functional team where coding proficiency is essential for driving CI/CD automation, DevEx tooling, and Infrastructure-as-code.

You will be part of a focused team owning components of the production application environment and developer experience.

This hybrid role, based in Luxembourg, reports to the Senior Manager of Software Development, DevOps.

  • To Note: Salary range (70,000 - 84,000) is in Euros*
  • To Note: This role is a hybrid work schedule requiring to be on-site at our Luxembourg office. Candidate must be able to commute to the office on a weekly basis.*

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build tools, automation, libraries, and services.
  • Build internal tools and reusable automation scripts using Python or another high-level language.
  • Maintain reliability, security, and integrity of cloud-based Linux infrastructure.
  • Work with technologies such as Ansible, Python, Bash, and Java.
  • Own project milestones and contribute to team and departmental improvement.
  • Develop automation for repetitive tasks and build infrastructure platforms.
  • Operate and troubleshoot production systems and developer environments.
  • Support development teams with tools, infrastructure interfaces, and best practices.
  • Contribute to code reviews, live coding sessions, and collaborative software design decisions within the DevOps team
  • Collaborate across teams to solve problems and improve systems.
  • Mentor peers and share knowledge through documentation and demos.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years in SRE, DevOps, or software engineering roles.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching team members.
  • Proven ability to write scalable, clean code in SaaS environments.
  • Proficiency in a high-level programming language (preferably Python), with experience writing modular, testable code.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong Linux systems administration and networking knowledge.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, teamwork, resilience, and innovation.
