Your role & work environment

As a Digital & Remote Sales Expert – Personalisation (CJE), your mission is to offer our clients a differentiating customer experience for their financial needs in every important step of their life by leveraging our digital capabilities.


You will analyse the market, the emerging needs & behaviors of our customers when they are dealing with their finances. Armed with those insights and by levering our digital strategy, you will contribute to design, develop & and optimize (beyond) banking propositions to drive the satisfaction of our customers & a sustainable growth of the Business Banking segment.

Next to development of new propositions, you will also develop and run commercial campaigns to drive traffic and sales towards the ING channels (Digital / Face / Call) by making use of data & digital assets.


Your success indicators will be the overall customer satisfaction, the growth and profitability of the Business Banking segment. A segment focused on Independents, Micro-Companies, SME’s and Midcorporates.

Your key responsibilities

  • You drive the growth of the segment and the customer satisfaction by developing personalised customer journeys and proposition.
  • You manage commercial actions to drive digital adoption, traffic & sales in a multi-channel environment.
  • You analyze commercial results and take appropriate action when needed.

  • You put the customer 1st. You have a strong affinity with the professionals market and the rapidly changing customer needs.
  • Ready to apply a ‘dare to do’ attitude, especially eager to take our digital and remote goals to the next level
  • You are eager to create personal customer journeys across our different touchpoints, client communications and product offerings. This by making full use of data analysis and digital technology. Knowledge of Content Management Systems and reporting tools are a plus.
  • You combine strong analytical capabilities with creative mindset to find solutions to complex problems. Keen on A/B testing and experimenting. Making use of tools like Adobe/Google Analytics/WebTrekk/..
  • You love collaborating, in multidisciplinary and self-steering team
  • You make things happen with respect for the (risk) processes.
  • Change, innovation & testing is part of your DNA
  • You hold a Master’s degree or/and are qualified with relevant experience of min 4 years.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or French AND English.
