To strengthen ourInsight to Impact team, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Digital Operations Manager.


An exciting journey lies ahead of UCB; with a strong pipeline spanning several therapy areas that we are confident will deliver highly differentiated solutions. As Digital Operations Manager, you will liaise with various management levels at European and area/country level to impact strategic choices and co-creation of final solutions. Your focus will be on websites and portals - with your help, we will build innovative end-to-end digital programs which create a seamless experience across channels, devices and technologies for our external stakeholders and patients.

You will contribute
by:

  • Acting as point of contact to co-create the implementation of the Business Unit’s OmniChannel strategy
  • Create differentiated End-to-End Omni Channel solutions utilizing both internal and external channels (3rd party, Social Media, Apps) with expertise on digital solutions such as Websites, Portals, Google Analytics & SEO
  • Drive implementation and operations for remote engagement tools, webinar solutions and campaigns, surveys and integrate it in the future operating model given the environmental change
  • Utilize analytics and drive usage and data quality of digital solutions to ensure future impact maximization. Build the foundation to allow better data collection, processes, and governance for digital solutions
  • Drive training and launches of new solutions to the users and act as capability owner in relevant digital areas
  • Constructively collaborate with IT, I2I departments, medical, legal and compliance teams
  • Apply marketing principles including among others like stakeholder targeting, profiling, lead generation, mass customization, campaign planning and evaluation


Interested? For this position you’ll need the following
education, experience and skills:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree with working knowledge of Working knowledge of Websites (eg. Drupal), Portals, Google Analytics and SEO is a must
  • Experience remote engagement tools, webinar solutions, social media & apps in general is a strong plus
  • Digital hard skills – Assuming the majority of future engagement strategies will be digital, hands-on expertise in this area remains key
  • Analytical skills with focus on business case analysis and insights generation linked to channel performance
  • Outstanding execution & project management skills – This includes stakeholder management & networking, change management, planning & status tracking, risk/issue management, especially for launch preparations in pharma
  • Innovation mindset – Innovation especially in the digital space will be a critical asset. Experience with new value propositions, engagement approaches as well as with innovation methodologies are a necessity. Strong connections or experiences outside Pharma in this domain is a plus
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, including advanced English language capabilities
  • Willingness to travel
