Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

In support of technical proposals, project achievements, and/or the development of innovative technical solutions, perform the engineering tasks requested by the product lines of the entity.

Missions :

• Execute and optimize the engineering of power equipment and measurement instrumentation necessary for the proper functioning and safety of the entity’s products to the satisfaction of clients, in accordance with the requested schedules and budgets.
• Develop technical documentation in compliance with local regulations, applicable codes, client technical specifications, and internal standards.
• Analyze and enforce client technical specifications.
• Support pre-project and project execution teams during technical clarification meetings with the client.
• Participate in design reviews and implement the action plan.
• Establish lists of measurement instruments, electrical consumers, control and safety automation inputs/outputs, and power and control cables.
• Coordinate the conduct of SIL (Safety Integrated Level) studies for control and safety loops and measurement instrumentation.
• Establish technical specifications for power equipment and measurement instruments.
• Coordinate and verify the completeness and compliance of wiring diagrams and cable routing plans.
• Conduct technical negotiations and coordinate subcontractors and/or equipment suppliers.
• Ensure mastery and smooth continuity of technical information at interfaces.
• Resolve technical issues inherent to project execution.
• Provide assembly documentation for measurement instruments and power equipment.
• Develop training documentation for partners and clients and conduct training sessions.
• Analyze and anticipate technical risks.
• Actively participate in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the fundamental know-how of the entity in its engineering discipline through technological monitoring, regulatory monitoring, and/or a feedback process.
• Develop the tools, programs, models, and calculation tools necessary for the effective elaboration of documentation supporting this know-how.
  

Profile :

• Higher education degree in civil or industrial engineering in electromechanics, electrical, or energy fields.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in E&I in industrial projects.
• Experience in site supervision is a plus.
• Knowledge of Elec Calc and Smart Plant is a plus.
• Technical negotiation with suppliers.
• Proficiency in English and French.
• Autonomous profile, capable of taking initiatives, and working in a team with multiple interfaces related to various areas of expertise.
