Janssen Pharmaceutica is recruiting for an E&I Engineer in Geel, Belgium.

The Geel site is the largest chemical production site for small molecule API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) within the Janssen supply chain. We ensure lifesaving medicines reach the patient, safely, optimality, competitively, always. Beside production of API’s, the site has a launch & grow mission for new pharmaceutical products. To accomplice this mission, we keep investing in new technologies, people and partnerships.

Job Summary

As E&I Engineer you will have a large degree of scope and autonomy to deliver technology solutions in projects, where you will act as domain expert in the field of instrumentation and electrics.

The successful candidate will also mentor external E&I engineers on project delivery processes, technical standards and equipment specifications.

Next to support projects, you will also provide operational support related to E&I in case of need, to ensure product supply. Development of a strategic Capital Master Plan for E&I installations.

The E&I Engineer is a member of the Geel Make Asset Management (MAM) organization. The MAM organization operates as one team in the delivery of Engineering, Maintenance and Execution system activities.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have experience, skills, and a track record of achievement in the following:

• Detailed and deep understanding of Electrical installations and instrumentation
• Hardware of automation systems, PLC’s and DCS (PCS7, Delta V)
• ATEX regulations and environments
