Electronics Development Engineer

Cockpit displays - Safety critical electronics – video and graphics

For our customers in the Aerospace industry (Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Embraer, Comac,… ) we develop and produce in Kortrijk the next generation Cockpits with Visualisation and Human Interface Solutions: Smart Displays, Video displays, Touchscreens,….

As member of the Avionics HW R&D team, you will contribute to the development of display systems, which are integrated in the cockpit of aircrafts and helicopters. Electronics is an important element in the operation of the system, for which correctness and safety are the highest priorities.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the development of mixed analog and digital electronics including embedded electronics design
• You cover all phases of the development:
• requirements definition
• conceptual design
• schematic capture
• PCB lay-out support and review
• Debug
• Formal verification
• Production introduction and support
• Accuracy, quality and safety are the main objectives in your development work.
• You work intensely together with other members of the project team to realize the product.

Profile

• Master degree in electronics/engineering. We are open for young graduates!
• Knowledge of and experience with embedded systems and/or analog electronics design (we work with Video Graphics processors, FPGA, backlight and LCD optical components, ...)
• Quality oriented: we follow development processes (DO- 254) which enables us to deliver to the aerospace industry worldwide.
• Good knowledge of English
