Job Purpose and Impact

The EMEA Commercial Excellence Director will support Cargill Animal Nutrition and Health enterprise and partner with senior commercial leaders to mature our commercial excellence capabilities to enable a customer driven approach. In this role, you will empower commercial teams to provide customers the best total experience in the industry, resulting in earned organic growth rates and margins.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide thought leadership in the identification and implementation of commercial and sales best practices that provide tangible, measurable results.
  • Apply expert knowledge to develop innovative commercial approaches and coach the commercial leaders and managing director in the assigned region.
  • Partner with the managing director and commercial leaders to design and deliver a go to market organization and system that is widely recognized inside and outside as among the best in the industry.
  • Develop and execute strategies that foster transformational organic customer growth for the organization.
  • Drive and optimize performance for the sales and broader go to market organization in the assigned region.
  • Provide expertise and hands on leadership to the managing director and commercial leaders for market mapping, route to market design and offering model development.
  • Build the capability for sales effectiveness and channel management with the businesses, mature it accordingly and establish plans to continuously upgrade commercial excellence capabilities by market.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
  • Experience driving results in a global and matrix environment
  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience
The travel expectation for this role is around 20% within the EMEA region
