About the position

You will own the design and implementation of Business Applications and Solutions for the EMEA region (5000 end users), working in close collaboration with Global Digital Function and regional Business and Functional groups. The role ensures the robust and stable operation and maintenance of the existing, and evolving, application environment and platforms. Reporting to the EMEA Head of Digital, you will play a critical role in the execution of business and digital strategy.

This position can be based in Düsseldorf (Germany), Tielt (Belgium) or Teesside (UK)

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the business solutions delivery team for EMEA (8 direct reports, overall 31 employees)
• Support global projects and programs, and collaborate effectively with the Global BSD Director so that EMEA requirements are considered in the development of the global strategy
• Ensure the regional delivery of the S/4 Hana project and architecture
• For key business processes, collaborate closely with the Global Digital team and regional BU / FU, leading the regional activities to eliminate technology silos, standardize information systems, and implement agreed digital platforms
• Alongside the relevant regional Digital strategies, create and execute a medium-term Business Solutions roadmap and a "to-be" image of the ecosystem and application landscape for the region
• Ensure measurement of Return on Investment; leading the selection and implementation of appropriate systems to maximize competitive advantage.

Your Experience

• Significant depth of experience in an IT leadership role with a focus on business solution delivery
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, business/civil/industrial engineering or related field/equivalent experience
• Major project and multi discipline program management including design project management methodology such as waterfall and agile
• Experience with ASAP and Activate methodology in one or more A to Z implementations of SAP or S/4 Hana
• Complex application landscape experience
• Proven leadership in shaping functional and E2E processes vision and strategy and change management, preferably in a manufacturing user environment
• Influential leadership approach with experience of managing and coaching a team located in multiple countries.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
