What does this job entail?

Millions of clients around the world rely on KBC Asset Management to protect and grow their assets. We do this with ambition and a healthy appetite for business. At heart, we are a SME.

As an Equity Fund Manager, you will reinforce a team of 15 people with diverse backgrounds. Together you will manage over 150 investment portfolios, end-to-end. These include equity funds and mandates of private as well as institutional clients. Perhaps you are curious what the total value is of the assets we manage. Perhaps you will soon help us to increase that number?

What do we expect from you?

  • You collaborate with experienced economists and portfolio managers from your team to develop optimal portfolios.
  • Youmanage fundamental funds and mandates. A team of analysts supports you in this. You will also work with advanced quantitative models and tools for portfolio management.
  • Based on market research and your experience you develop a long term vision of enterprises and markets.
  • You give reliable informationto clients on how the financial markets and their portfolios are performing.

Your key strengths?

  • You have a background in finance or economics. Thanks to a number of years of experience, you are familiar with analysing financial markets, building portfolios and style analysis.
  • Just like your colleagues, you’re not a rockstar, but a team player. You like towork together with others to achieve goals and you have a discrete approach.
  • You work accurately and with respect for deadlines. No problem for you to make decisionsin order to keep moving forward. You’re also okay with the fact that it’s sometimes quite busy and sometimes less so.
  • You communicate effectively with clients and have commercial skills.
  • Knowledge of English is a must. Know Dutch and/or French as well? Even better.
