(European) Patent Attorney

Jobinhalt

• As a Patent Engineer you will be responsible for the registration process of patents and figure out how innovative ideas can be protected.
• You will actively participate in new development projects of our R&D team and inform them of possible new developments within the sector. In order to do so, you will keep up-to-date with the patent registration of competitors.
• Furthermore, you will be identifying patent infringements and you will help setting up creative ‘design-around’ solutions.
• You will be actively involved in the valuation and commercialization of the intellectual properties of the Unilin Group.
• You will be working in an international context and support Unilin’s subsidiaries in Europe and the US.
  
  

• You have a Master degree or Ph.D. Civil Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Sciences,… and you have obtained your degree as (European) Patent Attorney.
• You have a sincere interest in patents.
• You are a fluent communicator in Dutch, English. German is a nice to have.
• You are creative and willing to think “out of the box”.
• You are enthusiastic, you are entrepreneurial and you take initiative. You are a good networker.
• You have strong analytical skills. Your punctuality and accuracy are strong assets.
• Occasionally, you are willing to travel to the foreign subsidiaries.
