The Federated Mission Networking (FMN) Secretariat supports and coordinates activities in the FMN framework process. The FMN Secretariat consists of permanent staff and the liaison officers of the participating states.

The Swiss liaison officer is responsible for maintaining contact and liaison between the FMN management and his/her nation.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the permanent presence of Switzerland in the FMN Secretariat as liaison officer;
  • Lead the Swiss FMN Steering Group and keep it constantly informed of FMN developments;
  • Support the members of the steering group in organising Swiss FMN participation;
  • Actively contribute to the capability development of the Cyber Command from an FMN perspective;
  • Participate in FMN governance meetings.

Qualifications

  • University degree in political science, economics or business administration, information technology or similar education;
  • Swiss officer; if possible, experience in planning and execution at operational and/or strategic level;
  • Experience in Swiss and NATO C2 systems and projects desirable
  • Open and communicative personality;
  • Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language; very good knowledge of English.
