We are currently looking for a Frontend Developer to join one of our clients based in Brussels.

Your main duties will be:

• Development of front-end website architecture.
• Design of user interactions on web pages.
• Development of features to enhance the user experience.
• Building reusable code for future use.
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
• Cross-platform optimization.
• Design responsive applications.
• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
• Maintenance of code integrity and organization.
• Writing clean, functional code on the frontend.
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Definition of user-centered evaluations of UI solutions, identifying key usability problems and providing recommendations on how to solve them
• Contribution to test scenarios and test result analysis regarding the UI components.
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
• Meet both technical and consumer needs.
• Write technical documentation.
• Documentation of code, ensuring easy maintenance & evolution.
• Optimization of application for maximum performance and scalability.
• Participate in Agile Ceremonies and follow the Agile methodology.

If you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or similar) + 12 years of experience within ICT OR Master’s degree + 8 years of experience.
• Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, ES6, CSS3 and SASS.
• Proficiency in Angular (latest versions, build, and automation tools), Bootstrap, and Typescript.
• Good knowledge of client-side development of complex applications involving: multi-module, Web Components.
• Experience in Web security, authentication, and authorization protocols (OAuth, Open ID Connect).
• Experience working with web services (REST, SOAP), JSON, XML, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with the following tools: Git, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Nexus, Crucible, Jenkins, and Sonar.
• Knowledge of web ergonomics, usability and accessibility.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and testing.
• Team player but also able to work independently.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Experience in agile development environments.

• Experience working with JSONPath.
• Knowledge of fundamental visual and typographic design disciplines and principles.
• Knowledge of UX design best practices, including user interface ergonomics.
• Experience in Redux architecture.
