AB InBev is seeking a Acceleration Manager (Platform Manager for our Brewing Technology Development team) in the Global Innovation & Technology Center (GITEC), in Belgium. GITEC is AB InBev’s Global Research & Development Center, located in its own secure facility at AB InBev’s Global Headquarters in Leuven, Belgium. At GITEC, a diverse team of more than 120 innovators, pulling from more than 20 nationalities. The department of Global Brewing Technology Development, part of GITEC, is responsible of research, develop and implement front end Raw Materials, Process optimization and Yeast and Fermentation technologies that enable a better world, cost saving, quality improvement on one hand, and feed the consumer innovation department on the other hand.
Key Accountabilities
Drive full 1YP and 3YP exercise across key brewing platforms – Debottlenecking, Carbon Neutral & Champions
Drive and accelerate development and implementation of Zone and Global active Front End Innovation (FEI) RAU Projects.
Drive Zones’ 1Y and 3Y FEI RAU pipeline.
Keep a continuous progress overview of Zone and Global active FEI and D2D RAU projects to indicate where corrective action is required on timing and saving
Leverage the established networking within the organization, both Zone and Global RAU teams - Debottlenecking (ZITEC, ZBS and ZB&Q community), Carbon Neutral (Global and Zone E&F) and Champions team (G/ZITEC, G/RPO), nurturing a positive relationship to deliver our projects to the Zones.
Lead, influence and report progress to the business, identifying and addressing any potential risks that may affect the achievement of objectives of the projects within the portfolio of Debottlenecking, Carbon Neutral and Ingredients Platform
Support building and updating business cases of Front-End and D2D RAU Projects
Lead the organization and follow-up of the yearly pre- and Technoweek Global RAU (Process Development, Yeast and Fermentation and Raw Materials and Co-products) Team, and the yearly pre- and Champions week Global RAU Team, including GPO/RPO, GB&Q/ZB&Q, G/ZITEC
Support budget tracking, next year targets, budget process and manage day to day operational aspects of the Global RAU Team: MCRS, Team Target Review Meeting, Mancom presentation preparation (TIF Mancom), Mancom Project Review meeting TOR and MCRS, team SharePoint, NDA process, Pegasus approvals, etc. Manage Global Rau Training library (ASK portal – enabling sharing knowledge across Zone)
Key Skills and Experiences
You are a leader with strong interpersonal skills, an inclusive approach, the ability to persuade, influence, and collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
You have around 2-5 years professional project management and (in)direct people management experience
You have knowledge and experience in brewing technology, in depth knowledge of ABI’s ways of working and organization, especially within Supply. Knowledge of project process flow and tools (e.g., Pegasus, CQV, Product Blueprint & Integrity Governance Process) is an asset
You can build a business case supported by and understanding the key financial parameters
You are results-oriented with respect for quality, timing, and attention to detail. You have strong analytical and critical thinking skills. You can integrate multiple perspectives, strategically analyze, and synthesize to meaningfully contribute to the business objectives
You have managed change, with successful experiences in highly ambiguous and continuously adaptive environments, with short deadlines
You have excellent presentation making and presenting skills. You can inspire and influence your colleagues from different backgrounds and Zones to adopt new strategies, practice new working methods, adopt standards across the zones to create coherent and uniform results
You are fluent in English, and any other languages are an asset
