To strengthen our Inkjet Jeti Tauro team we are looking for a passionate Global Support Engineer.

You are responsible for the HQ directed escalations from the global install base. As the main point of contact you will be required to manage and communicate resolutions remotely or in the field. You validate system performance and servicabilty of new product developments. You assist staff with troubleshooting technical issues and bugs that may arise within the field, report back to engineering and manufacturing to improve service issues. As the expert in your domain you are also responsible for training programs, and documentation. You like to be on the road as this job might require a high amount of travel in the field.

Your key responsibilities are (but not limited to):
  • Manage and support escalations from Global service team. Work closely with Engineering, SQA, Field Service and Application groups to support Service in day to day support of Jeti install base.
  • Identify, Testing of product upgrades and fixes. D ocument and communicate technical updates.
  • Support, validate and communicate new product releases. Work with Engineering in design phase through release and support phase.
  • Develop and manage training programs. Perform printer training to Service Engineers.
  • Spare parts support. Producing and updating part number schematic drawings. Work with supply chain for set up and initial buy recommendations. Communicate updates and new spare parts to field, using parts web tools.
  • Onsite travel to address escalations, field test sites, control site installs and Trade Show support.
  • Issue reporting to Software/Engineering (EPL)
  • Quality control reporting to Manufacturing (PIT)
  • Assist in researching, writing, reviewing and deploying system documentation.
  • Develop and produce instructional videos on technical system procedures and updates

Profile

To perform this function we need you to have following qualifications:
  • Masters/Post-secondary degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Willing to travel frequently world wide
  • Excellent research, problem solving skills
  • Must be well organized and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong customer relation skills
  • Motivated and self starter
  • Works well individually and with group
