Head, Labelling Business Performance

Are you a Labelling professional with experience in driving and measuring performance across the Labelling process while managing, leading, and developing a team? If so, this Head, Labelling Business Performance role is an exciting opportunity to explore.

The Role

The Head, Labelling Business Performance leads and executes strategic and operational initiatives related to building optimal capability and capacity within the organization. This role would lead business projects associated with the GSK Labelling systems, organization, and processes across the Established Products and Development Organisations. The role would also be accountable for broad Labelling support for business performance metrics and resource management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain the establishment of Global Labelling Strategic and Operational plan and annual business objectives.
  • Develop and oversee the portfolio of Global Labelling projects and initiatives. This may require data analyses, familiarity with Labelling processes and systems, and management against the functional objectives and performance standards. May also perform as project manager or oversee management of Global Labelling and cross-functional projects.
  • Develop and oversee Labelling resource management, optimizing resources used and interdependencies. This includes establishing a means of accepting work requests, allocating resources, tracking work to completion, and developing basic algorithms for work forecasting.
  • Develop metrics and metrics reporting that support Global Labelling business performance (resource utilization, budget management, simplification, etc.) and compliance, in collaboration with the Labelling Compliance Director and LPACT. This will require creating a Labelling Dashboard to make visible that our deliverables have appropriate KPIs which are tracked, reviewed, recorded, and communicated according to plan.
  • Direct and support efforts to improve labelling processes, which may include establishing a repository of process documentation, developing process maps, and assessing appropriateness of our written standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Established Products; Content Delivery and Development Groups to align processes, systems, and business performance. This is intended to simplify and align maintenance of, and continual improvement to, the business model, optimize strategies and operational plans, and create flexible and responsive solutions to the challenges of changing environments.
  • Lead Global Labelling Communications strategy, maintaining flow of information via email, presentations, website, town halls, and other information sharing.
  • Develop an approach to assessing the impact of change before initiation and the benefit realization after implementation.
  • Overseeing maintenance and change management for all Global Labelling and Regulatory systems, and all Regulatory data repositories with labelling data.
  • Act as Global Labelling representative on Regulatory Information Management Steering Committee (RIMS and RIMS Change Control Board).

  • Bachelor’s Degree or work experience equivalent.
  • 10 years of regulatory experience with line and matrix leadership experience.
  • Understanding of scientific and analytical data, labelling content, and regulatory requirements

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • MS, MBA.
  • Interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Internal and external stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Ability to influence effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
