Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the right hand of the Head of Compliance
  • Represent the head of compliance in his/her absence
  • Help in managing the team
  • Support the development, delivery, and implementationof an organization’s strategy for managing and mitigating regulatory and compliance risk.
  • Take ownership, as needed, in developing policies and controls to address relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a center of expertise, sharing knowledge of requirements and compliancerisk and, when appropriate, providing relevant training to management and staff.
  • Monitor the company’s adherenceto policies to ensure compliance with Belgian, regulations, providing assurance in the process.
  • Conduct compliance reviews to evaluate the appropriate implementation of company policies and effective management of compliance risk.
  • Monitor and analyze current regulatory requirements, applying them appropriately to the business.
  • Foster a strong compliance culture throughout the organization by creating compliance communications and updates.

Profiles


The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Compliance
  • Demonstrating effective influencing and negotiation skills within the industry and professional context.
  • Utilizing analytical skills to analyze and resolve complex business and regulatory issues.
  • Leading projects and initiatives with competence and confidence.
  • Thriving in a multicultural environment and working effectively with diverse teams.
  • Taking a proactive approach in addressing challenges and seizing opportunities.
  • Fluent in French & English is mandatory, Dutch would be a strong asset!
