We are looking for a Head of Data Office Change to join us in our Data Office function, to be based in any of our Brussels (Belgium), Slough (UK) or Raleigh (US) offices

About the role

The Head of Data Office Change Management will be responsible for leading the change management efforts for UCB’s Data Strategy. The role will focus on creating engaging ways for the broader UCB community to connect with the Data Strategy, with the goal of driving a culture shift towards a community that is question-led while being data-enabled. The successful candidate will design and implement a change engagement strategy that will result in functional areas adopting a data mindset and changing their ways of engaging, managing, and sharing data. The candidate should also have knowledge and skills in psychology to interpret and understand the why behind behaviors.

What you’ll do

• Develop and implement a change management strategy that supports the adoption of UCB’s Data Strategy across the organization
• Work with functional areas to identify areas where data can be leveraged to drive business outcomes
• Develop and deliver training programs to support the adoption of a data mindset
• Create engaging ways for the broader UCB community to connect with the Data Strategy
• Develop and implement metrics to measure/monitor the success of the change management efforts
• Work with functional areas to identify and address any barriers to adoption of the Data Strategy
• Collaborate with other members of the Data Office to ensure alignment with overall Data Strategy

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred
• Proven successful track record in process improvement or data science project delivery.
• Several years of experience in change management, preferably in a data-driven organization
• Proven track record of successfully leading change management efforts in a complex organization
• Strong understanding of data management practices and technologies
• Experience in developing and delivering training programs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address barriers to adoption of the Data Strategy
• Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a plus, but not required
