Leading Biopharma company is hiring Head of Manufacturing Science and Technology for their senior management!
A leading Biopharmaceuticals company experiencing rapid growth, is currently hiring an experienced Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) Manager to join their senior management team. In this position you will join the site management team, and be responsible for tech and process transfer for projects in Microbials manufacturing. You will manage and develop a team consisting of more than 20 experienced MSAT process experts, all highly experienced process experts in USP and DSP of Microbials.
The position as Head of MSAT for Microbials represents the department in the management team, and ensures the projects in the department are delivering on targets. The team is responsible for Technology and Process Transfers for the manufacturing of Biologics based on Microbials (e. coli, yeast, bacteria, etc.) Working closely with Bioprocess Engineering team on bringing projects through different stages, and acting as Subject Matter Experts in the long term delivery.

Responsibility:
  • Managing the Manufacturing, Science, and Technology department for Microbial manufacturing, with more than 20+ scientists.
  • Ensure Technology and Process Transfer projects are delivered on target
  • Represent the department in the site management team
  • Budget responsible for the department
  • Responsible for CapEx and OpEx in the MSAT department
About you:
  • MSc or PhD in Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or related life science degree
  • Extensive experience in Technology and Process Transfer in the Biotech sector
  • Experience managing teams of experienced scientist, including budget and personnel responsibility
  • Ability to influence other departments through your knowledge and experience
