Head of Simulator Operations – Elite Motorsport Tech

We’re working with a pioneering organisation that’s redefining how professional race teams prepare to win. Using next-gen Driver-in-the-Loop (DiL) simulator technology, on par with F1 standards, this team is delivering ultra-precise vehicle models and fully virtual environments to accelerate race-day performance.

As Head of Simulator Operations, you’ll be the driving force behind simulator service delivery, tech integration, and team leadership. You’ll play a key role in shaping technical strategy, collaborating with world-class engineers, and optimising systems for reliability, realism and results.

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate and lead simulator sessions for professional race teams
  • Integrate and refine advanced vehicle, tyre and track models
  • Collaborate on physics development and system improvements
  • Manage facility operations and technical supplier relationships
  • Recruit and lead a high-performance simulation team
  • Own technical delivery and champion customer experience

About You:

  • 5+ years in DiL simulator development or operations (motorsport or similar)
  • Strong expertise in real-time systems, model correlation, and system integration
  • Proficiency in tools like Matlab/Simulink, Python, C/C++
  • Deep technical credibility and a collaborative, detail-driven approach
  • Full fluency in English; multilingual is a plus
  • MSc/PhD in Engineering, Physics or similar
  • Willing to travel occasionally across Europe
