Job Description

This is the opportunity to join Carmeuse for an exciting apprenticeship/internship.

You’ll join the HR team for two years and you’ll have the chance to spend 6 months with our Talent Acquisition Specialist, 6 months within the Compensation & Benefits team, 6 months with the Learning & Development team, and 6 months with our HR Manager.

Your Challenge

Support Our Corporate HR Manager (6 Months)
  • Manage the employee life cycle processes: hiring, onboarding, orientation/integration, leaves, performance and associated compensation activities, internal and cross-border transfers, departures and exits, grievances, reward and recognition initiatives.
Discover Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding (6 Months)
  • Collecting the need of our hiring managers to recruit new interns (target of 5 interns) in their teams
  • Creating exciting offers to attract top talent candidates
  • Participating in our employer branding projects: 2 posts on LinkedIn, organization/participation to 2 school events
Contribute to the success of Talent Development and Learning in Europe (6 months):
  • Participate in the rollout of training programs in Belgium and across EU
  • Manage the subsidies part as well as compliance records of training
  • Track and record the learning activities in our LMS, contribute to the HR dashboard
  • Manage some of our learning content platforms ( e.g. LinkedIn, serious game)
  • Prepare and curate learning contents
Support Our Compensation & Benefits Team (6 Months)
  • Discover the entire payroll process (white and blue-collar – Belgium-France) and assist the team in some steps of the process;
  • Support the team in the administration around our 3 flexible incomes plans and all our benefits
  • Bring your help to the different legal reporting we have to provide annually
  • Support the team in the different comp&ben project 2022: new mobility/company cars policy, new tool assusoft , grading…
The ideal candidate profile to take on this challenge

Education
  • You have a bachelor/master degree (HR, Business, Admin)
Experience
  • You have a first experience in HR
Your Professional Skills
  • You are passionate about people
  • A first experience with an ATS/ERP/CRM is a plus
  • You dare to explore digitalization opportunities
  • You are curious and autonomous
  • You are flexible and able to work with deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are fluent in French and English
