This Business unit offers a wide range of engineering services to international customers to help them realize complex products and sub systems. It includes design, development, qualification, value engineering and many more. Flexible Engagement models such as consulting services, fixed-price projects or turnkey Build-To-Spec contracts allow customers to choose what is right for them and for the specific projects they manage.

This business unit also develops Passenger Information Systems for the rail transportation market with the goal of real-time information access and security. Centum has established a proven track-record of successfully deployed systems in the European, North American and Asian transport markets.

Job description: HW design engineer:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Responsibilities:

Definition / design / modification of test means implementing test means requirements, including:

 ATE architecture and synoptic definition (if not already defined)

 Test racks definition / design / modification (general view, electrical schema, wiring plan, mechanical design, …)

 Harnesses definition / design / modification. The amount of interfaces, connectors, … can be very large (> 100)

Profile:

 Master in electrical or electronics engineering

 Excellent knowledge of :

  • electrical characteristics measurement and simulation techniques (medium power : < 200V, < 30 kW, but with high performance criteria) or electrical test systems
  • electronical design tools (Eagle is used for schematics)
  • HW configuration management
  • electrical safety rules (BA5)

 +3 years experience in professional automatic test hardware design and development, in industrial test environment, for production or for product qualification
