We are looking for an Immigration Consultant to join the Europe Mobility Solutions Group. This is a permanent, full-time position that will be based in our Brussels office.

About The Role

As Immigration Consultant with a focus on Europe Mobility Solutions and social security services you are responsible to advise clients on European mobility strategies and the immigration, social security and posted worker implications for their global mobility processes in the EU, in close cooperation with the European Centre of Excellence and the immigration inbound teams.

You are expected to work in close collaboration with multi-jurisdictional teams and leverage knowledge sharing, relationship building and team work.

You ensure projects are completed on time and meet high quality standards.

Other Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Under moderate supervision, the consultant’s main responsibility is to contribute and manage immigration, social security and posted worker assessments and advisory / compliance projects
  • Develop knowledge of all advisory services provided by Fragomen
  • Provide advice and assistance with government audits on immigration, social security and posted worker compliance. Support Fragomen’s Government Strategies Program towards the EU
  • Keep up to date with developments in immigration, social security and posted worker law/processes and work closely with the European Centre of Excellence Knowledge and Execution Team
  • Host consultation calls with clients and governments when applicable
  • Apply client protocols according to expected service delivery standards
  • Effectively cooperate with Immigration Inbound teams across the European Region
  • Deliver internal trainings
  • Oversee status of work through utilization of case management and billing systems
  • Contribute to drafting knowledge materials, blogposts, newsletters, project reports

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Previous customer facing experience
  • Previous case/project handling experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional language skills would also be beneficial for this role.
  • At ease to work flexibly and accurately in a fast paced environment
  • Global mobility and more specifically Immigration, social security or posted worker experience are desirable
  • Bachelor or Master degree preferably specializing in Law/Legal Services or Political Sciences
