We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Manager to join our team on a long term project .

As Team Manager Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the operational management of the INFRA (server infrastructures), DBA (database administrators) and SAP BC (SAP Basis Consultants) teams.

The team currently comprises 11 members.

Your role

• You will be responsible for the efficiency and performance of the company’s infrastructure systems (IS), ensuring that operations are carried out optimally and guaranteeing maximum IS availability.
• Team management: Supervise server infrastructure, DBA and SAP BC teams, providing clear direction, guidance and appropriate support. Ensure a balanced distribution of tasks and foster effective team collaboration.
• Planning and coordination: Develop and implement strategic plans for server infrastructures, databases and SAP BC environments. Coordinate the activities of your team members in relation to infrastructure projects, upgrades and migrations of servers, databases and SAP BC systems.
• Incident management : Oversee the resolution of incidents related to server infrastructures, databases and SAP BC environments. Ensure effective management of problems and breakdowns, quickly identifying underlying causes and implementing appropriate corrective measures. In this context, a 24/7 on-call one week per month should be considered.
• Performance optimization: Monitor the performance of server infrastructures, databases and SAP BC systems. Identify bottlenecks, suggest improvements and implement solutions to optimize performance and ensure adequate scalability.
• Security management: Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure the implementation of best practices for the security of server infrastructures, databases and SAP BC systems. Ensure that appropriate security controls are in place and adhered to.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain complete documentation of server infrastructures, databases and SAP BC environments, including configurations, standard operating procedures and performance reports. Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and team activities.

Your profile

• In-depth technical knowledge of the following areas (non-exhaustive list)
• On-premises (Windows, Linux, AIX, AD, Antivirus, etc.) and Cloud Azure server infrastructures.
• Knowledge in Oracle, MS SQL and PostgreSQL databases
• Experience with operational management of SAP BC environments (is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving and incident management skills.
• Good knowledge of IT security practices.
• Proven experience in ITIL
• At least 5 years relevant experience
• Strong problem-solving and incident management skills.
• Technical knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL and PostgreSQL databases
• Previous experience in managing teams and projects in an IT infrastructure environment
• Good knowledge of IT security practices.
• Technical knowledge of the following areas (non-exhaustive list): On-Premise server infrastructures (Windows, Linux, AIX, AD, Antivirus, etc.) and Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructures.
