In the frame of the development of the Hydrogen High Pressure Vessels for the New Energies Division of Plastic Omnium, we are searching for an Innovation Project Manager.

MISSION

The Project Manager Innovation is the in charge of internal program aimed at bringing a Product/Process at readiness level to transfer to a region for production.

The scope of the program can be a full product or a specific technological brick and will be assigned to the Product Line.

He works closely with the Technical Leader of the product Line to deploy products defined on the roadmap, and Coordinate the resources allocated by the various Functions (Metiers, Industrial, Purchasing, Quality)

Responsibilities & Activities
  • Drives the project team and coordinate activities to ensure flawless execution of PO process
  • Interfaces with the Research Director / Technical Leader on all project issues, ensures good communication and information flow between the project team and Functions
  • Prepares and presents projects to gate reviews (and in any other program/project review as necessary).
  • Identifies risks during the development phases and escalate to management
  • Support sales and business development activities.
  • Establishes budget and manages development, tooling and other expenses of project within budget objectives and optimizing cash.
  • Controls the developments costs and billable hours.
  • Sets project planning, anticipates deviations, risks and takes corrective actions.
Profile Requirements

Personal Background
  • Above 10 years in Research / Project Management
  • Experience leading an R&D team or group
Job Technical skills
  • Solid understanding of the technology (in which project is developed
  • Good knowledge of automotive standards
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Project Management
  • Multidisciplinary competences (mechanics, thermal mgt, electronics)
  • Understand system optimization
  • Understand design for manufacturing
Job Soft skills
  • Ability to work efficiently
  • Ability to find trade offs
  • Open minded, can think out of the box
  • Delivers clear and easy to understand information
  • Comfortable communicating to different types of audiences, upwards and downwards
