Barco Entertainment is looking for an ethusiastic student to join their team in Kortrijk to create a library of cooling commodity specifications.


With support of the members of the cooling team, you will perform practical tests & setups to characterise our various projector cooling building blocks. Important in this task is to be hands-on & practical, with sufficient technical insight to understand cooling concepts and to translate the measurements into meaningful data. It will be important to work in a structured way & to document your work well. A good dose of common sense is needed.


Your work will add value to the thermal team as this library will serve as the backbone for a software tool we are developing.


Your profile:

  • you are a bachelor or master student in mechanical or thermal engineering
  • you are familiar with basic cooling principles
  • you are communicative & hands-on
  • you can perform tests & document the results methodically/ in a structured way
  • you have good computer skills, eg: excel...
