Job Description

As a student at Avanade, you will focus on writing your thesis research during your internship but you will also be part of our Software Engineering (SE) team. Graduating at SE is possible on many different topics of which IoT is one. If you are interested in IoT, you can get started with the following assignment:

We are now looking for an awesome intern that can join our team starting withFebruary 2022!

As an intern in the Software Engineering Talent Community, you will:

  • Improve your skills with Microsoft Technologies (Azure, .NET Core, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Participate in the development of a solution based on IoT technologies
  • Develop unit and integration tests
  • Deploy the solution using CI and CD
  • Be part of the community that can help you with its expertise.

The current solution is able to monitor and track assets. First, we use IoT technologies to collect data from sensors and track assets with beacons. Then, we have a ReactJS website combined with an API (.NET Core) to show the information to the end-user.

The main objective of this internship will be to improve the solution (IoT part and website) and add new features which may include reporting, automation, machine learning, etc.
