The facility, located 30 km east from Brussels, is the Bosch knowledge and development center for wiper blade processes and products: rubber processing (compounding, coating, injection molding and extrusion), painting technology, and assembly technologies for different types of wiper blades.

The Group of "Platform and variant developmen aftermarket" is responsible for the development of new wiper blade technologies, new packaging for wiper blades, adapting existing programs to the market needs (new connections)

and introducing new wiper blade innovations into the aftermarket. As lead development for aftermarket worldwide we are working in close cooperation with the development departments in the plants in Serbia and China.

Cost, quality and timing are the KPI’s we need to achieve in our projects.

Job Description

Your main task will be the analysis of force distribution data related to different kinds of wiper blade adapters with the target to reduce the complexity of beam bendings. For this you will also need to work together

with other departments like the sample shop, test department and with the design team.

You will support in the packaging projects to map and visualise the different wiper blade packaging variants of Bosch as well as doing some benchmark on competitors.

Besides that you will work in different projects together with the project leaders and designteam to analyse data, improve documentation or follow up sample manufacturing and testing.

Qualifications

Student in the areas of engineering (Bachelor / Master)

Good MS Office skills

Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).

Good communication skills, team-oriented and sense for responsibility

Eager to learn, take initiative and work independently.

Hands on with good problem solving skills

Intercultural awareness and understanding

The internship requires that you have the nationality of a EU-country or that you are taking part in the Erasmus- or Leonardo program.

Additional Information

You will gain your first professional experience within the framework of an internship in the fields of a production department with a high degree of independent work.
