Tribe Payments is looking for an IT Dev Engineer for its squad International Payments Core Services.

The squad is responsible for the International Payment engine of Tribe Payments. This engine isused by many BNP Paribas Group entities to process their customer’s international payments.

Thesquad is asset owner of the application, it ensures the life cycle management of the system, and it isinvolved in many continuity and other projects related to International Payments. The engine itselfruns on Linux and is also supported by mainframe applications.

As Dev Engineer in the squad IP Core Services, you have the following responsibilities:

• Participate in the analysis, design, development, integration, test, and support of the qualitative International Payments products, solutions, services, and to the migration to new versions of the packages.

• Collaborate with the Tribe Payments squads and IT Tribes to deliver each sprint.

• Assist the Product Owner to adjust the business requirements into functional and technical requirements via Features and User Stories.

• Guarantee, with the members of the T-shaped squad, the implementation of the packages, maintenance, and future improvements.

• As a Linux/Unix expert, you will maintain the Money Transfer System (MTS) and the Universal Payments Framework (UPF) including maintenance of scripts, tools, and Application

Programming Interfaces (APIs) around the system.

• Other activities include the development of APIs in Java, Excel macros (for automation) and Windows administration (for prognosis client/server installation).

• In interaction with other IT Tribes, you will put in place the links to other systems used as input/output of MTS, UPF and APIs.

• You will ensure the 3rd line support to end-users.

• You will document the solutions.

• Working place is Brussels. Nevertheless, given the fact that the Shared Service Center isinternational, your squad will regularly be in contact with other entities in Europe.

Highlight your strengths

• You have a bachelor or master degree in IT and at least 5 years of experience

• You are fluent English and French/Dutch are mandatory.

• Required knowledge and experience:

o Technical experience

You have an experience in packages development and server configuration.

You have expert knowledge of Linux/Unix (bach scripting, awk, …), Windows (excel VBA), Java and Control-M (Unix and Windows)

o Agile methodology experience

o Business experience

You have knowledge of banking and payments products. Knowledge about SEPA, SWIFT and international payments is an asset.

You have experience in process analysis of payments requirements.
