General position description

The successful candidate will work full time at ENTSO-E offices in Brussels and will be required to be based in Belgium, where a hybrid working environment will be offered. S/he will work within the ICTS section, reporting to Operational Planning Data Environment (OPDE) Service Delivery Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible of the full delivery of business applications. This covers the understanding of the Business need, the release management, the budget control, the procurement process follow-up, and the security compliance.

Travelling might be required in Europe.

Responsibilities and tasks

· Manage, monitor, and coordinate the topics and/or applications you will be responsible for.

· Act as subject matter or IT expert and accountable for one or more business application(s) and associate services, including IT requirements and evolution, security, quality, performance, and operability.

· Strong willingness to understand the business side of assigned topics, to analyse, review, and update IT requirements from the functional & non-functional requirements.

· Management of third parties’ providers/manufacturers, with respect to data architecture, data governance, operational support, and service levels.

· Ensure the progress of the different topics, take charge of tasks in an autonomous manner.

· Administrative aspects inherent to application management (manage contract, meeting organization and follow up, etc.)

· Ensure proper communication with our users/stakeholders

· Determine quality KPIs and other controls

· Follows up on application security, risk and other incidents when needed

· Day to day management of issues reported by users related to business applications

Profile

· High school or University degree in IT or electrical engineering

· At least 3 years’ experience in complex environment performing as a development Lead or Project manager

· Excellent writing and presentation skills in English

· Knowledge and experience with Java or .NET based development tools is a strong advantage

· Strong organization and planning skills

· Strong analytical skills and structured problem solving

· Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting with competing deadlines

· ITIL foundation certified or equivalent experience

· Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), Agile & Waterfall methodologies.

· Familiar with SharePoint, Jira and Teams.
